Volunteer service

On April 30, Xubo 118 Cultural and Creative Fair opened in Xuzhou Museum. The volunteer team of Xubo organized a capable force to escort the smooth holding of the cultural and creative fair.

This cultural and creative fair was organized by Xuzhou Museum, aiming to cheer for the ongoing "Win in Xuzhou" Second Xuzhou Cultural and Creative Design Competition. The event invited inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, such as sachets, Paper Cuttings, kites, dough sculptures, copper art, to the scene to guide tourists to participate in the experience, which greatly enriched the holiday cultural life of citizens.

In order to provide comprehensive and considerate services to exhibitors and tourists, nearly 50 volunteers and social volunteers from colleges and universities in Xuzhou, under the careful planning and overall arrangement of the Volunteer Management Center, worked together to ensure the orderly progress of the fair.

Arrange exhibits

There are more than 40 booths in the event. Next to each booth, there is a Xu Bo volunteer in a yellow waistcoat who serves tourists and businesses, arranges exhibits, maintains order, and answers questions. The volunteer partners show their skills. 

Since the event is on the May Day holiday, the passenger flow is much higher than usual. At the end of spring, the temperature rises significantly. Volunteers are not afraid of hardship, overcome difficulties, and calmly cope with the large passenger flow and hot weather during the holiday. With warm and thoughtful service, they have won the unanimous praise of tourists and businesses.

Carrying chairs

Volunteers are the link between the museum and the public, and have the omnipresent communication function. The volunteers' willingness, initiative and enthusiasm have virtually improved the image of the museum. The development of museum volunteer work enables the museum to continuously absorb the strength of the society in the process of opening itself, and constantly improve its own and service awareness. With their enthusiasm and sweat, the volunteers continue to inherit and carry forward Lei Feng's spirit and spread the volunteer spirit of "dedication, fraternity, mutual assistance and progress". They may be unknown, but they still tirelessly contribute to others and society, which perfectly explains "the most beautiful youth of volunteerism".
