            In this set of textbooks
The "cultural relics" in the museum become students
Important materials for observing and feeling beauty
In the textbook of the first volume of the fifth grade
Three cultural relics from Xuzhou are included
Jade "jade pendant", "group jade pendant" and
Han Dynasty Stone Carving "Fish Car Tour"

Among the three cultural relics, an archaeologist, Mr. Zou Houben, "fished" a jade "Huang" from the crevice in the tomb of King Chu at Shizishan. In Chinese culture, most people think that Huang is an imitation of the rainbow. The word "rainbow" in oracle bone inscriptions is the shape of two arcs connecting the two ends of the faucets, which is completely consistent with the shape of Huang. Mr. Zou Houben "fished out" this jade pendant with double dragons, which is the best work in the art of jade carving.

The other group of jade articles is the "group jade pendant" unearthed in the Han Tombs of the Camel Mountain. It is an exquisite cultural relic of the Han Dynasty consisting of 11 pieces of jade articles, which were worn by the nobles in the early Western Han Dynasty. Because of the slight impact between the jade articles, the rhythm is sent out, so the wearer needs to pay attention to adjusting the pace at all times.

In addition, in the "fish cart tour" of the Han Dynasty stone reliefs, you can also find the marks similar to the jade "huang". And "fish car tour" is the story we often say "Hebo travel".

The writing of "Beauty of Cultural Relics" of Xuzhou cultural relics was led by Chen Zhao, deputy director of the comprehensive office of Han Dynasty stone reliefs in Xuzhou Museum. At first, he selected seven cultural relics in Xuzhou. However, in view of the accuracy and conciseness of the text in the textbook, there should be no ambiguity. To make children understand it, it is also necessary to guide primary and secondary school students to discover, explore and comprehend beauty from the cultural relics. For this reason, after several modifications, the jade "jade huang", "group jade pendant" and the Han Dynasty stone relief "fish car" were finally selected.
Chen Zhao, deputy director of the management office of the Han Dynasty Stone Relics Art Museum of Xuzhou Museum, said: "When choosing the content of the cultural relics introduction for students, we put aside the value of cultural relics that adults said. Excavate the story behind the cultural relics and find out the cultural nature of the cultural relics. These contents can be more permanent for children."

Nowadays, more and more parents will attach importance to children's historical, geographical and cultural learning, so that children can feel the charm of traditional culture and have a "cultural background". Some tourists said that if the Xuzhou culture can be used as a publicity, and the formal teaching materials can be used to let children understand it comprehensively, it will be of great help to the inheritance and promotion of Xuzhou culture.

In October 2020, the Ministry of Education and the National Cutural Heritage Administration jointly issued the opinions on using museum resources to carry out education and teaching in primary and secondary schools, aiming to promote primary and secondary school students and teenagers to use museum resources for learning. The series of teaching materials "Beauty of Cultural Relics - Walking into the Museum Practice Course" published by the People's Art Museum Press is an exploration attempt under this trend.
Du Yihua, Director of Social Service Department of Xuzhou Museum: "Cultural relics and cultural heritage are non-renewable and irreplaceable resources of China's excellent civilization, which carry the genes and blood of the Chinese nation. The cultural relics of Xuzhou Museum are selected into this series of textbooks published by the People's Fine Arts Publishing House, which combines the beauty of cultural relics with the study of Chinese history and culture, and also allows children to explore and feel the beauty of wisdom of Chinese civilization while exploring the beauty of cultural relics."
