Work Plan in 2016

In 2016, our library will conscientiously implement the important spirit of the fourth and eighth sessions of the Eighteenth Central Committee and Xi Jinping, especially the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping ’s speech at the National Symposium on Literary and Art Work, and implement the work of the Party Committee Plan, adhere to the construction of a socialist cultural road with Chinese characteristics, practice the core values of socialism, promote the excellent traditional culture of China, and make due contributions to the "dancing Hanfeng" strategy implemented by our city and building a culturally strong city. The planned work is as follows:

I. Archaeological work

1. Complete the archaeological excavation of Tushan Mountain.

2. Other archaeological work include: exploration and excavation of the Jiawang Fushan Weijin cemetery; cooperating with the Rail Transit Line 1 project to excavate the ruins of the underground city of Pengcheng Square; continue to implement the ancient ruins investigation project in the lower reaches of Yishusi.

3. Rescue archaeological excavation.

II. Cultural relics protection. Restore and protect cultural relics, such as jade coffins unearthed from M2 of Yunshan Han Tomb in Xuyi, painted pottery figurines from the tomb of King Chu of Beidong Mountain, do on-site protection during the excavation of Tushan Mountain Tomb No. 2 , and implement preventive protection of cultural relics in the collection

III. Complete the city's first cultural relics census work; compile a mobile cultural relics census file; census work report; complete project conclusion assessment and audit work. Preparation of census results manual.

IV. Improve the level of free opening, hold 4 public welfare exhibitions and 8 popular science lectures throughout the year, and continue to carry out "Tracing out the Ancint Penngcheng" education activities. Preparations for the implementation of outreach to Xinjiang Yili Prefecture Museum, Guangzhou Nanyue King Tomb Museum, Beijing Art Museum and so on.

V. The basic display of Deng Yongqing Painting and Calligraphy Museum will be upgraded.

VI. Pay attention to safe production and protect the relics.
