Weapons are tools for safeguarding the survival interests of human beings. Along with the entire course of the war, they represent an advanced level of productivity. Xuzhou has been a battleground for soldiers since ancient times, and a large number of weapons have    been unearthed.

This lecture focuses on the exhibition line of the Jinger Iron Horsein the Xuzhou Museum, focusing on cultural relics unearthed in Xuzhou, and tells the history of ancient Chinese weapons from the prehistoric period to the end of the Qing Dynasty. This explanation not only involves swords, arrows, chariots, Ge, spears, halberds, crossbows of the Han Dynasty, ring swords, hook inlays, steelmaking, cavalry, iron armor, heavy cavalry, hook sickle, chain mail, iron tribulus , Porcelain Tribulus and other rich knowledge of cold weapons, also talk about the types and applications of firearms.

Gunpowder is used in the military field and is the most important innovation in the history of war. The age of combined use of firearms and cold weapons should be from the Northern Song Dynasty to the middle of the Qing Dynasty, which lasted about 9 centuries.

By the Ming Dynasty, muskets had begun to enter a formal battle sequence, and the quality of firearms had also been greatly improved compared to the past. This explanation also involved fire tribulus, scorpion owls, bowl owls, Fran machine guns, smooth-bore firearms, and stick artillery. Such rich knowledge of firearms can make the audience have a more intuitive understanding of wars and weapons in ancient China.
